Resident Evil is taking over Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas starting Thursday, July 9, 2026.
The limited-time horror experience runs through August 30, 2026, with interactive puzzles, undead battles, character encounters, and themed food and cocktails inside the AREA15 District venue.

Event Dates
The Resident Evil experience runs from July 9 through August 30, 2026, at Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas. The venue is Universal’s year-round horror entertainment experience at the AREA15 District.
The takeover is included with General Admission to Universal Horror Unleashed, so guests planning around Resident Evil should treat it as part of the main visit, not a separate ticketed add-on.
Raccoon City
The experience starts with guests entering Raccoon City near a battered Welcome to Raccoon City sign. From there, guests move into the Raccoon City Police Department and receive an assignment connected to RPD Officer, STARS, or BSAA.
The mission includes interactive puzzles, clue hunting, locks, codes, and Easter eggs from the games. Universal frames the walkthrough around the Umbrella Corporation’s T-Virus outbreak, with infected citizens and combat zones building through the route.

Characters And Food
Resident Evil characters named in Universal’s preview include Ada Wong, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Leon S. Kennedy. Guests can also expect zombies and other franchise villains during the combat portion of the experience.
The final stretch leads into Umbrella Corporation, where limited-time themed food and cocktails are available for purchase. The food side is part of the same summer takeover, giving fans one more reason to build extra time into the visit.

Planning Takeaway
If Resident Evil is the draw, visit between July 9 and August 30, 2026, and buy General Admission for Universal Horror Unleashed. Universal recommends allowing at least three hours to experience everything, since all four haunted houses continue operating during the takeover. That makes the Resident Evil route an added layer on top of the normal Universal Horror Unleashed lineup, not a replacement for the core houses.
