Universal’s newest attraction, set at the Area 15 art district in Las Vegas, Nevada, officially has an opening date. Announced earlier today, the ticketing site has officially gone live, allowing guests to book their tickets to this thrilling new Las Vegas experience, which offers the frights of Halloween Horror Nights on a year-round schedule, all starting August 14th, 2025 – the perfect herald for the Halloween Horror Nights season.
Theme Park Shark has been covering the details about Horror Unleashed as Universal has been releasing details, and a lot of what was already announced can be found in our previous article [here] covering the subject, but with the ticket page going live, lots of new information has come to light.
With three different ticketing options, general admission starts at 59.00 plus tax for Nevada residents, and 69.00 plus tax for non-resident admission. This general admission ticket includes all four themed areas, shopping, dining, and single-use entry into each of the four haunted houses present at Universal’s Horror Unleashed.
For 99.00 plus tax, guests of any residency can purchase an Unlimited General Admission pass, which allows unlimited access to all four of the houses – go through as many times as you like, and experience all the horror you can handle!
After deciding what type of ticket to purchase, guests will also be required to not only choose their date of admission, but their entry time as well, with options ranging from 2 PM entry to as late as 8:40 PM entry. And, in typical Halloween Horror Nights fashion, the venue is closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays – with the exception of October, during which the venue will only be closed on Tuesdays. Other exceptional days see Universal Horror Unleashed closed for operation, including December 25th (because even our worst nightmares get Christmas Day off!) and September 18th.
Ticketing varies depending on demand, as most theme park tickets do these days ,and standard non-resident fare can hike as high as 99.00 before tax for special weekend rates, especially in October.
The ticketing site also reminds you that Area 15 restricts access to minors during certain times of the week, and guests should check the compound’s FAQ before purchasing tickets, which can be purchased on the venue’s new site, [here].
See you in the fog!
