Disney Cruise Line just announced an exciting new nighttime spectacular coming exclusively to the Disney Adventure cruise ship: The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky.
A First-of-Its-Kind Fireworks Experience
As the only cruise line in the world to present dazzling fireworks displays at sea, Disney is taking this signature tradition to new heights with an all-new show inspired by one of its most beloved animated films.
The spectacular will illuminate the night sky with stunning pyrotechnics, dramatic lighting, and iconic music from The Lion King films. Guests can expect to hear beloved songs including Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata, He Lives in You, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight.
The musical score features original arrangements recorded by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, with the unique harmonies of the Ndlovu Youth Choir from South Africa.
Shah Rukh Khan as Narrator
Global entertainment icon Shah Rukh Khan will serve as the shows narrator. Khan, who voiced Mufasa in the Hindi-language versions of both The Lion King (2019) and Mufasa (2024), will lend his legendary charisma and distinctive voice to guide guests through this heartwarming journey.
The Lion King will always hold a special place in my heart, and its timeless messages of bravery and hope continue to resonate across generations, Khan said. Narrating this new reimagining feels like a full-circle moment and a true passion project.
When and Where to Experience It
The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky will debut when the Disney Adventure sets sail on its inaugural voyage from Singapore on March 10, 2026. The show will be featured on select evenings at sea during both three-night and four-night voyages.
About the Disney Adventure
The Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Lines first ship to homeport in Asia, sailing from Singapores Marina Bay Cruise Centre. Unlike other Disney cruise ships, the Disney Adventure will focus entirely on the onboard experience with no port stops, offering seven imaginatively themed areas featuring Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories, including the cruise lines first castle at sea.
