Valentine’s Day at Walt Disney World is one of the most romantic ways to spend the holiday, and 2026 is no exception. From limited-time treats and brand-new lounges to fireworks cruises and sunset Skyliner rides, there’s something for every type of couple (or Galentine’s group) visiting this week.
Here’s everything you need to know about celebrating Valentine’s Day 2026 at Disney World, all sourced directly from Disney’s official announcements.
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Is Still Going
Valentine’s Day falls right in the middle of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which runs January 16 through February 23, 2026. That means you can pair your Valentine’s plans with the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, food studios featuring artistic culinary creations, and live art demonstrations throughout the park.
The Broadway concert series features performers from shows like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and more, with performances running through the final weekend on February 22-23.

New Lounges Perfect for Date Night
Two of Disney World’s newest spots make ideal Valentine’s destinations:
The Beak and Barrel at Magic Kingdom is a pirate-themed tavern in Adventureland near Pirates of the Caribbean. It opened in August 2025 and serves themed cocktails and snacks in a family-friendly atmosphere. Advance dining reservations are recommended.
GEO-82 at EPCOT is an adults-only lounge located inside the iconic Spaceship Earth geodesic sphere. It opened in June 2025 and serves cocktails and small plates with a retro-futuristic vibe. This one is 21 and older only, making it a great pick for couples looking for a more refined experience.
Other strong date night lounge options include Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs.
Romantic Experiences You Can Book
Disney offers several bookable experiences that are particularly well-suited for Valentine’s Day:
Private Fireworks Cruise: Watch Happily Ever After or Luminous from the water on a private boat. These can be booked through Disney’s recreation line and are one of the most popular Valentine’s splurges at the resort.
Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride: Available at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, these 25-minute rides cost approximately $55 per carriage (not per person) and can seat up to four adults. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance.
Savor the Savanna: This premium guided tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom includes a private safari with African-inspired small plates and beverages. Pricing starts at $174 per person, with a 15% discount available for Annual Passholders and Disney Visa cardholders. Guests must be 8 years or older.
Cupid’s Touch Massage for Two: Available at The Grand Floridian Spa, this Valentine’s-specific treatment includes chocolate or champagne rose scents and a chocolate foot treatment.
Amphicar Tour: Take a vintage car-boat ride at The BOATHOUSE in Disney Springs for a unique date night experience.
Skyliner Sunsets and Waterfront Walks
Some of the best Valentine’s moments at Disney World are free. The Disney Skyliner offers views across the resort, and timing your ride around sunset makes for a memorable experience. Ferry boats and water taxis between the resorts and parks also provide quiet, scenic moments together.
Valentine’s Day PhotoPass Magic Shots
For a limited time, Disney PhotoPass photographers across the resort are offering Valentine’s-themed Magic Shots, including heart-shaped confetti effects and Valentine’s balloons digitally added to your photos. You can also book a personalized 20-minute photo session for a more dedicated keepsake.
Nighttime Spectaculars to End Your Evening
There’s no shortage of options for closing out your Valentine’s date:
- Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom
- Luminous: The Symphony of Us at EPCOT
- Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Each offers a completely different atmosphere, from the castle projections at Magic Kingdom to the waterfront lagoon show at Hollywood Studios.
Deals Worth Knowing About
Disney is currently offering a free dining plan for kids ages 3-9 when you book a package that includes a dining plan for guests 10 and older at Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Available offers can be found at DisneyWorld.com/offers.
New Seasons of Love Merchandise Collection
Disney has released a limited-edition Seasons of Love Collection featuring pink-and-red Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse designs, including new Valentine’s Day Mickey ears. These are available at select merchandise locations across the resort for a limited time.
Planning Tips for Valentine’s Week
A few things to keep in mind if you’re visiting this week:
- Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday, which means expect higher-than-usual crowds at table service restaurants, especially without reservations.
- The EPCOT Festival of the Arts wraps up February 23, so you still have time to enjoy it through the holiday weekend.
- For the best lounge experience, try to snag reservations at GEO-82 or The Beak and Barrel in advance.
- February weather in Orlando typically ranges from the mid-50s to mid-70s, so layers are a good idea for evening plans.
Whether you’re planning a full date day or just looking to grab a heart-shaped beignet between rides, Disney World has plenty of ways to make Valentine’s Day 2026 feel special.
