Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons has unveiled two new wedding gowns for 2026, created in collaboration with Allure Bridals. The designs celebrate a pair of milestones: the 35th anniversary of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and the 35th anniversary of Beauty and the Beast.
35th Anniversary Light-Up Gown
The standout piece of the collection is a specialty dress honoring the 35th anniversary of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings, which has been hosting weddings and honeymoons at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort since 1991. This gown blends fashion with technology in a way Disney hasn’t done before in its bridal collection.
The dress features over 500 twinkling lights woven into the design, with 35 different illumination settings to celebrate each year of Fairy Tale Weddings. Brides can fully personalize the look with color-changing lights, custom patterns, and audio activation. The gown includes built-in beat-detection technology, allowing it to glow in rhythm with the music during the reception.
The light-up technology is integrated seamlessly into the fabric, so the gown maintains its elegance while offering the spectacle of an illuminated dress that responds to its environment. When the lights are off, it reads as a traditional couture bridal gown.
Belle-Inspired Gown
The second new gown is inspired by Beauty and the Beast’s Belle, honoring the 35th anniversary of the animated classic that premiered in 1991. The design features gold tones, elegant draping, and embellishments that echo the character’s signature ballgown from the film’s iconic dance sequence.
Like Belle’s dress in the movie, the gown uses warm golden fabric with flowing layers that move naturally. The detailing includes subtle rose-inspired accents and textured embroidery that reference the enchanted rose at the center of the Beauty and the Beast story.
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings Program
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings program offers wedding ceremonies and receptions at locations across Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani in Hawaii. Couples can choose from venues including the Wedding Pavilion at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort, Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland, and various gardens, ballrooms, and private dining locations throughout the Disney properties.
Weddings at Disney start at approximately $3,500 for micro weddings (up to 12 guests) and range significantly higher for full ceremony and reception packages. The Fairy Tale Wedding experience includes dedicated Disney wedding planners, custom decor, and access to exclusive locations not available to regular park guests.
