Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026 just added its sixth experience to the lineup: Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon the Miracle: Moon Palace Chapter Deluxe, an all-original Japanese CG anime short film showing exclusively at DreamWorks Theatre during event nights.
This is the first time a Sailor Moon experience has come to Universal Studios Hollywood. The short film originated at Universal Studios Japan’s Cool Japan event and is being presented in Japanese with English subtitles.
Full Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026 Lineup
Universal Fan Fest Nights is an after-hours, separately ticketed event exclusive to Universal Studios Hollywood. It runs for 12 nights: April 23-25, May 1-3, 7-9, and 14-16, 2026. All experiences are included with admission each night.
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon the Miracle: Moon Palace Chapter Deluxe (NEW)
An all-original Japanese CG anime short film showing at DreamWorks Theatre. Originally debuted at Universal Studios Japan as part of the Cool Japan event. Presented in Japanese with English subtitles. This marks the first Sailor Moon experience at a U.S. Universal park.
Scooby-Doo Meets The Universal Monsters: Mystery on the Backlot (NEW)
An immersive walk-through adventure on Universal’s actual movie backlot. Guests board the Studio Tour tram and walk through filming locations including Little Europe and the Court of Miracles, which were used in Frankenstein (1931) and The Wolf Man (1941). Scooby-Doo, Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy guide guests through a mystery involving Frankenstein, Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, and Wolf Man.
ONE PIECE: Grand Pirate Show (NEW FORMAT)
ONE PIECE returns but in a completely new format: a live show extravaganza at the WaterWorld venue. Inspired by the Universal Studios Japan production, the show features a cast of fan-favorite characters with action, comedy, and chaos.
Harry Potter: Forbidden Forest – A Search for the Hippogriff (NEW)
A walk-through experience in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Guests enter the Forbidden Forest to find a lost Hippogriff, guided by a Hogwarts Professor. The experience involves encounters with magical creatures and spell-casting challenges.
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD: Colorful Yoshi Celebration (NEW)
A new multi-colored Yoshi celebration throughout the Mushroom Kingdom. Guests can explore SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and meet different-colored Yoshis placed throughout the land.
Dungeons and Dragons: Secrets of Waterdeep (RETURNING)
Back by popular demand with enhancements. The walk-through experience has guests join the Harpers spy network to foil a plot by the beholder Xanathar and save the city of Waterdeep. Xanathar was created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
