Toy Story: Retro Roundup! and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition launch October 15, 2026. The releases bring a classic game collection and a modern remaster to current gaming platforms.
Both come from Digital Eclipse and Atari. They celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story, which D23 calls Disney+’s most-watched film franchise.
The releases give longtime fans a way to revisit adventures with Woody, Buzz and their friends. They also introduce those stories to a new generation of players discovering the games for the first time.
Which games are in Retro Roundup!?
Toy Story: Retro Roundup! brings together some of the earliest games based on the franchise in a single package. Its selections reach back to the original Toy Story game and include these adventures:
- Toy Story (1995)
- Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (1999)
- Toy Story 2 (1999)
- Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000)
- Toy Story Racer (2001)
- Bonus game: A Bug’s Life (1998)
The collection also explores the creative work behind the films and games through archival content. That includes rare development materials, archival imagery and behind-the-scenes insights into both sides of the franchise.
Five behind-the-scenes video featurettes explore the franchise’s creative journey.
There’s a music player, too. It features soundtracks from all the games in the collection.
Toy Story 3 remaster and available platforms
Toy Story 3 Complete Edition takes a different approach: it’s a modern remaster of the game originally released in 2010. That adventure takes its inspiration from the Academy Award-winning film Toy Story 3.
The game reaches modern platforms for the first time with this edition. Its visual enhancements include upgraded graphics and higher resolutions, giving the adventure an enhanced look for its return.
Both releases are available across the following consoles and storefront:
- PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2
- Steam
Players can explore the collection at Atari.com.
