Halloween Horror Nights has announced its second-to-last house for the 2024 haunt year.

With Halloween Horror Nights having a historic partnership with the horror film juggernaut, it’s hardly surprising to see the horror studio return to this year’s event. The Insidious franchise is produced by long-standing Universal Studios partner BlumHouse Films, a studio famous for its flavorful horror films and its continued presence as a major presence at the Halloween event as Universal Orlando Resort brings their horror flicks to life in licensed houses featuring some of their hit films such as Freaky, Black Phone, and the studios’ famous franchises such as The Purge, which have all found homes at Halloween Horror Nights over the years.

This year, Universal Orlando Resort announced that Insidious would be returning to the park for another striking house based on the popular film franchise. Insidious: The Further is Universal Orlando’s third IP house (and ninth house overall) will bring guests into the demonic realm of The Further to face their deepest, darkest fears. Hellions like the Red-Faced Demon and KeyFace will stalk guests through the maze as they try to escape The Further.

With nine out of the ten expected houses having been officially announced across Universal Orlando Resort’s social media and email newsletter, guests and fans of the event are waiting on the edge of their seat to see what the final house of this season will be – but whatever the answer, it’s almost guaranteed that none will be as intense as Insidious: The Further.

Theme Park Shark will bring fans news of the latest Halloween Horror Nights offerings and all news coming out of Universal Orlando Resort ahead of the event, so check back for more information on scare zones, shows, food, and tickets!

Danielle is a lifelong lover of Children's Literature who has been writing stories big and small since the age of twelve, and has been captivated by the fantastical for just as long. Her favorite stories have always been about magic and far-off adventures, and growing up in Orlando, Florida allowed her to experience those adventures in real life. As an adult, she graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2023 with a degree in Literature while working in the Education Industry. Her inner child, however, still has a deep love for fairies, dragons, magic, and adventure. When not writing her next big adventure, she enjoys drawing, puzzle platformers, theme parks, and fast roller coasters.
