The Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort has always been about celebrating music and the rock genre as a whole, both its history and the contemporary artists who add to its rich landscape today – so it’s no surprise that the Hard Rock Hotel often hosts concerts featuring musical artists big and small to enrich the Orlando rock scene. With performers like Bret Michaels, Joan Jett, and Eddie Money all having performed at the Hard Rock Orlando, it’s evident that this venue offers quality. The Velvet Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando, with a capacity of around 100 people, is a smaller, intimate venue where their small concert series – The Velvet Sessions – take place.
On November 22nd, 2024, The Velvet Bar will be welcoming BBMAK at an unplugged session for an intimate concert session from the artists that have produced several hits in the pop/rock genre including “Back Here,” “Still On Your Side,” “Out of My Heart (Into Your Head),” “Staring Into Space” and other memorable hits. Doors open at 7 PM and the concert, suitable for all ages, will begin at 8.
BBMAK, a British Band fronted by vocalist Mark Barry, lead guitarist Stephen McNally, and rhythm guitarist Christian Burns, formed in 1996 and sold over three million albums until the group parted ways in 2003 to pursue their own solo careers, but reunited in 2018 to perform worldwide alongside the release of its newest album, Powerstation, and the 9 B-sides that accompanied it on The Lost Tapes.
BBMAK is an award-winning band, having been awarded an ASCAP Pop Music Award in 2000 for “Back Here”, and are best known for their guitar-driven sound and harmonies that perfectly compliment their pop/rock melodies. BBMAK has headlined with high-profile artists over its career, and made a name for itself within the pop/rock genre.
Several ticketing options are available for guests looking to have an unforgettable small venue experience at one of the most luxurious hotels on Universal Orlando Resort’s property. Guests can book standing-room tickets for only 20.00 USD, which includes either self-parking for 5.00 or valet for 15.00, specially discounted off the standard Hard Rock Hotel parking rates for concert-goers.
For a touch of luxury, guests can choose one of the advanced ticketing options and reserve a table, which grants ticket holders all the benefits of standing room, as well as a reserved table for two at 60.00 USD, or a table for four at 100.00 USD. These prices, while not inclusive of taxes and fees, do include admission to the concert, the first round of house drinks, and free valet parking.
