Forget Warped Tour or Shaky Knees – this is the tour of the decade, right here! Mark your calendars and be sure to catch Universal Orlando Resort’s newest showcase, traveling across the country this spring to give guests a glimpse into the fantastic new worlds coming to Epic Universe on May 22nd, 2025. This tour, dubbed the “Epic Universe Portal Tour” is giving fans in four cities across America’s East Coast the chance to experience the groundbreaking new park in a unique way.
Including stops in Atlanta, New York City, Philadelphia, and Chicago, the Universal Orlando team will be taking the larger-than-life thrills of their newest theme park to guests eagerly anticipating the opening of the resort’s newest park. Featuring a 30-foot-tall Chronos – a replica of the gateway that guests visiting Epic Universe will pass through to access the world of Celestial Park and all its rich history and storytelling – this tour will take guests through the park’s five highly themed worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
Within the portal structure, guests will be able to witness the adventure that takes place in each of these stunning new lands, and those in attendance will also get the chance to take photos and selfies with the portal, and experience the worlds that Universal Creative have brought to life through captivating sequences that showcase some of the incredible new adventures that guests can embark on at Universal’s Epic Universe.
The Portal Tour will be traveling the country starting mid-April, with four stops across three months. The National Epic Universe Portal Tour will be in operation at the following places and dates from 10 am to 8 pm local time, subject to change:
April 11-13, the Portal Tour will be in Atlanta, Georgia at Pemberton Place.
April 23-26, the Portal Tour will be in New York, New York, at Rockerfeller Center
May 16-18, the Portal Tour will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at The Rocky Steps
June 13-18, the Portal Tour will be in Chicago, Illinois at Pioneer Court.
In addition to the tour dates, Universal Orlando has shared with fans a sneak peek at what we can expect from the Portal Tour, showcasing the expert craftsmanship of the Chronos portal that will be traveling the country and inviting guests into the magnificent new worlds that Universal’s Epic Universe has to offer.
