Universal Studios Hollywood is getting Pass Members hyped for Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift with the launch of an exclusive collectible magnet series.
The first magnet in the series is now available at the Universal Studio Store inside the park. To grab one, you just need to show your valid Annual or Season Pass at the register. It’s a fun little perk that kicks off what will likely be a multi-magnet countdown leading up to the coaster’s opening.
What Is Hollywood Drift?
For those keeping score, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift is Universal Studios Hollywood’s first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster. The ride will send guests rocketing up to 72 mph with 360-degree drifting cars, making it the fastest coaster on the West Coast when it opens later this year.
Meanwhile, Universal Studios Florida is building its own version of Hollywood Drift, set to open in 2027. That one will feature a massive 170-foot vertical spike element towering over CityWalk — replacing the now-demolished Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
Collectible Magnet Details
The magnet is free with a valid pass and available while supplies last. Universal hasn’t announced how many magnets will be in the full series, but if past collectible programs are any indication, expect a new one to drop every few weeks leading up to opening day.
