Tokyo Disney Resort is celebrating the release of Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” with a special event running from July 2 to September 14, 2026.
The event, titled “Funtime with Toy Story 5,” will take place at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, making it one of the longest seasonal events at the resort this year.
What to Expect
While full details are still to come, Tokyo Disney Resort has confirmed the event will feature a stamp rally where guests hunt for Toy Story characters throughout the parks, exclusive merchandise, special menus, and themed decorations.
A stamp rally is a popular Japanese activity where guests collect stamps at various locations around the parks. Tokyo Disney Resort has hosted similar rallies in the past, including a recent Fantasy Springs stamp rally at the Resort Monorail stations.
Toy Story 5 at Disney Parks Worldwide
Tokyo Disney Resort is not the only park getting in on the Toy Story 5 fun. Walt Disney World is also planning themed experiences this summer, including Jessie’s Roundup at The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom.
Toy Story 5 releases in theaters on June 19, 2026, with the Japanese release following shortly after. The “Funtime with Toy Story 5” event begins less than two weeks after the film’s Japan premiere.
