FX’s The Bear now has a date for its final season. The Walt Disney Company announced that the Emmy-winning series will premiere its fifth and final season Thursday, June 25, at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on FX and Hulu.
All eight episodes will be available to stream at launch. Disney says the season will also premiere internationally on Disney+.

The final season setup
According to Disney, the new season begins the morning after Sydney, Richie, and Natalie “Sugar” learn that Carmy has quit the food industry. With the restaurant facing financial pressure, the threat of a sale, and a storm, the remaining partners try to pull together for one last service and a shot at a Michelin star.
The main cast includes Ayo Edebiri, Jeremy Allen White, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson. Ricky Staffieri, Oliver Platt, Will Poulter, and Jamie Lee Curtis are listed in recurring roles.
How the release works
The FX premiere will include the first two episodes, followed by one new episode each week on the network. Streaming viewers will get the full eight-episode season at debut on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ internationally.
The announcement follows the May 5 surprise release of “Gary,” a flashback episode co-written by and starring Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jon Bernthal. Disney says fans can find that episode by searching for “Gary” on Hulu and Disney+.
For Disney streaming subscribers, the rollout is straightforward: Hulu carries the series in the United States, while Disney+ carries it internationally. Disney also confirmed that previous seasons remain available now, giving viewers time to catch up before the final season arrives.
Why it matters
This gives Disney and FX a firm date for one of Hulu’s biggest prestige series as it heads into its final run. The company is positioning the season as the end of the restaurant’s central story, with the team trying to define what a perfect restaurant actually means before the series closes.
