Disney+ is adding more Disney Experiences programming, including a new Disney Cruise Line-focused installment of Behind the Attraction.
Disney said the Disney Cruise Line special will debut on Disney+ on June 24, 2026. Disney Cruise Line also shared the news on Instagram, describing it as a two-episode special that will cover the origin story of the fleet and the making of the Disney Destiny.
In an email to Theme Park Shark, Disney described the release as the third season of Behind the Attraction. The company said the special gives fans an inside look at the making of Disney Cruise Line with first-hand accounts from creatives and visionaries who helped bring the fleet to life in 1998.
Disney said the two-episode special follows the evolution of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, including the making of the Disney Destiny. The Disney Destiny is described by Disney as a heroes-and-villains-inspired ship.
The Disney+ exclusive is executive produced by Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Brian Volk-Weiss, according to Disney.
Disney also said Imagineer That!, starring Tom Morrow 2.0, is now streaming on Disney+. The series originally aired on Disney Channel between 1999 and 2001 and follows Tom as he tracks down Imagineers to answer questions about how Disney theme park experiences come to life.
Disney said new episodes of Imagineer That! will continue debuting first on YouTube, with the next installment arriving during the week of May 25, 2026, according to Disney.
The update gives Disney Experiences fans two different kinds of behind-the-scenes programming on the same platform. The Disney Cruise Line special focuses on the cruise fleet and Disney Destiny, while Imagineer That! brings back a television-era Disney Parks format centered on Imagineering questions and theme park creativity.
The announcement is focused on streaming content for Disney Experiences fans, especially viewers who want more background on Disney Cruise Line and Disney Experiences storytelling.
For Disney Cruise Line fans, the main date to know is June 24, 2026, when the Disney Cruise Line Behind the Attraction special arrives on Disney+.
