Yzma from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Emperor’s New Groove is joining Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure park for the 2026 season.

Tickets were still available for select dates when Disney shared the character lineup. Disney says availability is limited by event date and tickets remain on sale only while supplies last.
Yzma Heads to Grizzly Peak
Yzma will appear in Grizzly Peak during this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash as part of the event’s treat trail lineup. She’ll bring the clever potion-making and “pulling every lever” details Disney tied directly to The Emperor’s New Groove.
Returning villains include Syndrome from Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles and Maleficent from Disney Animation’s Sleeping Beauty. Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is planned for Hollywood Land, while Ernesto de la Cruz from Pixar’s Coco will appear near the Hyperion Theater.
Disney’s additional treat trail character lineup includes Agatha Harkness in Avengers Campus, Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb in Hollywood Land, Hades from Disney Animation’s Hercules in Hollywood Land, and Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit in Hollywood Land.

The party will also feature Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow dressed as The Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus, along with Pain, Panic, and Megara from Hercules. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy from Disney’s Kingdom Hearts are also part of the additional character lineup.
Guests may also see select characters from Pixar’s Toy Story, Edna Mode and Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles, plus Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Scarlet Witch. The lineup may vary on party nights.
Disney is also adding “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party” for this year’s event. Disney says the new street party is hosted by Madame Leota and inspired by the beloved Haunted Mansion attraction. The street party will feature Haunted Mansion moments with ballroom dancers, gravediggers, and the hitchhiking ghosts appearing on the streets of Disney California Adventure.
Oogie Boogie Bash includes select attractions, experiences, offerings, and services during the event, with unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos during the party. Lightning Lane access isn’t available during the event, and costumes are subject to Disney’s special event costume guidelines.
