Universal Orlando Resort published a Portuguese-language guide to Halloween Horror Nights on August 13, 2026, covering the separately ticketed event at Universal Studios Florida. HHN runs on selected nights during the fall.

Haunted houses are the centerpiece, but the night also includes scare zones, live entertainment, themed food and drinks, and merchandise inspired by that year’s houses and attractions. The guide is written for both first-time visitors and longtime fans and links to the current event dates and ticket sales.
Haunted houses and Stay & Scream access
House themes can draw from horror movies, television series, musicians, video games and urban legends. Universal’s Entertainment team also creates original stories and characters, some of which have become HHN icons over the years. The sets are built to movie-level standards with hidden details. Daytime Unmasking the Horror Tours offer another way to examine that work.
The houses near the park entrance tend to fill first, so Universal recommends beginning at the back of the park. September is typically less busy than October, and arriving near the start of the night can improve the chances of reaching more houses.
Stay & Scream offers earlier access to selected houses. Guests must have either valid Universal Studios Florida admission or a Scream Early ticket, along with a valid HHN ticket for the same night. Access begins at 2 p.m. That 2 p.m. access time is the detail I’d circle.
Scare zones, shows, shopping and rides
Scare zones occupy the park’s streets, where creatures and monsters include demons, grotesque figures and the undead; chainsaws can also appear along the way. Guests who aren’t interested in the full intensity of a house can turn to live shows and street experiences. Past entertainment has included dance groups, comedy with pop-culture references and a lagoon show. Showtimes appear in the Universal Orlando Resort app, and performances can fill quickly. The scare zones also include photo opportunities, and a separate guide addresses guests who scare easily.
The Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store is in the New York area of Universal Studios Florida near Revenge of the Mummy. It isn’t limited to event hours: the store also operates during the park’s regular hours. Universal gives its interior theming comparable detail to the haunted houses. Inside are shirts, caps, cups, pins, lanyards and collectibles, along with themed photo settings.
Some rides remain open. Revenge of the Mummy and MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack are among the attractions operating during HHN. Their waits are often shorter than usual because guests have so many other things to do during the event. The Universal Orlando Resort app carries current attraction information.
