KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS arrives on Disney+ and Hulu in the U.S. on October 16, 2026. It streams on Disney+ internationally the same day. The documentary follows KATSEYE’s rise, with footage from the group and videos made by its fans, known as EYEKONS.
The streaming release follows a limited theatrical run. It comes as the group’s tour has begun and its third EP has reached the top of the Billboard 200.
What’s in KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS?
The film follows KATSEYE from the pressure of Dream Academy to chart-topping viral success. It covers the setbacks and sacrifices along that path, as well as the breakthrough moments that brought KATSEYE a wider audience.
EYEKONS appear in the story through their own videos. The film also features never-before-seen footage and intimate interviews with KATSEYE’s members. Fans get to hear from the group while seeing how its audience helped build the movement around it.
That relationship is central to the documentary. Disney+ calls the film a love letter to EYEKONS and says it follows KATSEYE into a new era. It isn’t solely a look back at Dream Academy or the group’s viral success.
Who made KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS?
Nadia Hallgren directed the documentary. Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures produced it in partnership with HYBE x Geffen.
KATSEYE is a GRAMMY-nominated global girl group. The New York Times, Vogue, Rolling Stone and Billboard are among the outlets that have praised its work and live performances. The film turns from that public success to the work, pressure and fan support behind it.
The streaming release also follows the kickoff of KATSEYE: THE WILDWORLD TOUR earlier in September. The group’s third EP, WILD, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Those milestones give viewers a sense of where KATSEYE stands as the documentary reaches streaming.
