Disney and Macy’s are continuing their celebration of the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with an expanded holiday assortment inspired by Disney’s decades-long connection to the holiday tradition.
The Disney and Macy’s Holiday Collection launches online at macys.com on October 7 and arrives October 15 at select Macy’s stores nationwide. The collection turns nearly a century of Parade history into festive fashion, accessories, home décor, collectibles and gifts for Disney fans of all ages.
Building on the debut of the new Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey giant character balloon and product capsule, the collection draws inspiration from the Disney, Pixar and Marvel balloons that generations of Parade spectators have watched, as well as the feel of Parade Day itself.
The assortment is organized into three distinct storytelling collections.
Balloons Through the Years
This collection is inspired by Mickey Mouse’s first flight above Manhattan in 1934 and the Disney, Pixar and Marvel character balloons that followed. It celebrates the characters that have become part of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade history, with archival-inspired artwork highlighting balloon appearances spanning generations, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Buzz Lightyear and Spider-Man.

March to Macy’s follows Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto as they make their way through Manhattan toward the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Inspired by a vintage 1930s comic strip aesthetic, the collection brings classic Disney character artwork to holiday apparel, accessories and collectibles.

Marvel’s Spider-Man and the Sinister Six
Since making his Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade debut in 1987, Marvel’s Spider-Man has become a fan-favorite part of the Parade’s character balloon legacy. Inspired by the Super Hero’s battles with the Sinister Six, this collection uses classic comic artwork, oversized graphics and bold colors.
