Disney H2O Glow After Hours returns to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon on select nights from Tuesday, June 2, 2026 through Saturday, September 5, 2026, with 13 event nights now on the calendar.
For guests planning a summer water park night at Walt Disney World, the biggest changes are the event dates, the April 21 and April 24 ticket sale windows, and a larger character lineup led by Powerline Max.

Dates and tickets
Disney Parks Blog says Disney H2O Glow After Hours will run on select nights across June, July, August, and early September. Resort hotel guests at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels, plus Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and Shades of Green, can buy tickets starting Monday, April 21, 2026. General public ticket sales begin Thursday, April 24, 2026.
Adult tickets start at $85 plus tax. Kids ages 3 through 9 get $20 off. Disney also says Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can save 20 percent on tickets. For families comparing summer extras, that pricing puts H2O Glow in the same planning conversation as other seasonal add-ons and limited-capacity offerings around Walt Disney World.
Characters
The headline character addition is Powerline Max, who Disney says will meet guests during the event. Donald Duck and Daisy Duck will also appear at the DJ dance party. Disney’s announced lineup also includes Chip ‘n’ Dale as the Rescue Rangers, Scrooge McDuck, and Launchpad McQuack, with characters rotating through the night.

For guests who treat after-hours events as rare-character nights as much as ride nights, that expanded lineup is the real change in this year’s announcement. Disney framed the 2026 version as a stronger character experience than past H2O Glow seasons, with more chances to stop for photos and catch character sets between rides.
What guests get
Disney says guests will be able to ride Typhoon Lagoon attractions after dark with shorter waits, including Castaway Creek and Humunga Kowabunga. Complimentary Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars are returning, and Disney says more food details will be announced later as summer gets closer.
The practical takeaway is simple: this is still the same neon after-hours water park event, but with more weekend dates and a stronger entertainment lineup. If Powerline Max or the expanded character list is a priority, earlier ticket dates matter because the event only runs 13 nights.
