Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort has a refreshed food and shopping lineup as of Friday, June 26, 2026, with Earl of Sandwich, Happy Ice, Cathy’s Cookies, and Parkside Market now part of the district.

For Disneyland visitors, the update gives the west end of Downtown Disney more quick-service food, sweets, shopping, and future restaurant options within walking distance of both theme parks and the resort hotels.

What is new

Earl of Sandwich is listed among the newest Downtown Disney dining stops, with a menu built around freshly baked sandwiches on artisan breads, breakfast items, soups, salads, sides, and desserts. The listed sandwiches include The Original 1762, The Full Montagu, and The Holiday Turkey.

Happy Ice has also joined the district with Philadelphia-style Italian ice made from scratch with real fruit, pure cane sugar, and premium ingredients. Cathy’s Cookies is serving warm chocolate chip cookies by the dozen or bucket, plus hot chocolate, milk, and ready-to-bake dough to take home.

Parkside Market is the district’s first food hall, with Parkside Market Coffee, Seoul Sister, GG’s Chicken Shop, and Vista Parkside Market under one roof. The mix gives guests coffee, Korean rice bowls, chicken sandwiches, salads, dinner sides, cocktails, and mocktails in one stop.

Shopping additions

The latest shopping lineup includes lululemon, Nectar Life, Avengers Reserve, Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, The D-Lander Shop, and Disney Storyland Boutique.

Nectar Life features handcrafted beauty essentials and bath treats, and it is the first Nectar Life location with a customization bar. Avengers Reserve focuses on Marvel collectibles, comics, apparel, and role-play toys. Disney Wonderful World of Sweets features house-made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn, caramel apples, churro toffee, and candy kitchens visible from the promenade.

What is coming next

Several future restaurants and shops are still on the way. Bopo Go! is planned as a Downtown Disney cafe with boba, other signature drinks, light bites, imported snacks, and candies.

Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby is planned with British classics and a 1960s London-inspired feel. Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon is planned as a classic steakhouse from Chef Joe Isidori, while Pearl’s Roadside BBQ is planned as a quick-service spot with pulled pork, beef brisket, craft beers, and moonshine cocktails.

Porto’s Bakery and Cafe concept art for Downtown Disney District

Porto’s Bakery & Cafe is also under construction for Downtown Disney. The Disneyland Resort location is planned to serve Porto’s Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls, pastries, and California-Cuban dishes, with sit-down table service and a full bar.

Planning notes

Downtown Disney admission remains complimentary. Guests with valid Disneyland park admission can also board the Disneyland Monorail from the Downtown Disney station for a ride into Tomorrowland.

The practical takeaway is simple: guests arriving early, leaving late, or taking a park break now have a bigger Downtown Disney food-and-shopping loop to work into the day, with more restaurants still coming as construction continues.
