D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event adds new afternoon programming at the Anaheim Convention Center from Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16, 2026.
The practical note for fans is ticket access: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Afternoon Only Fan Passes are still available, along with full-day Sunday D23 Fan Passes.
Concerts
The biggest afternoon additions are two music-driven programs. Disney Rewind Concert premieres at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 14, with an encore at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 15.
The concert is built around Disney hits from the 1980s and 1990s, with Powerline, Disney Afternoon, the Muses, and more included in the throwback set. The announced cast includes Jared Dixon, Alyssa Fox, Arielle Jacobs, Josh Strickland, and Raena White, with special appearances by Disney Legends Bill Farmer, Jodi Benson, and 2026 Legend recipient Susan Egan.

Alan Menken’s one-man concert, A Whole New World of Alan Menken, is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 16. Menken will share songs and stories from a Disney body of work that includes The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Hercules, Enchanted, Tangled, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Newsies.

Friday panels
Friday’s afternoon list includes Walt Disney: 125 Years of Inspiration, a salute to Walt Disney’s 125th birthday with stories, legacy guests, and performances. The day also includes an Ink & Paint at Disney Animation presentation showing how animation art moves from drawing to inked cel to painted image.
Other Friday offerings include 20 Years of Enchanted: A Love Letter to Disney, The Quests Ahead for Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, Houses Walt Built: The Walt Disney Family Museum, and Disney Lorcana speed puzzling team events at the Ravensburger Gaming Area.
Saturday panels
Saturday brings Worlds of Tinker Bell: Never Land to Pixie Hollow, hosted by Ashley Eckstein, plus Disney | Marvel: A Legacy of Stories presented by M&M’S, which covers Disney and Marvel storytelling through comics, crossovers, and production insights.
The Saturday slate also includes Disney Style Around the World, with Disney fashion and collaborations, and Great Moments with Walt Disney, led by Disney historian Tim O’Day and Disney Files editor Ryan March.
Sunday panels
Sunday’s list includes The Disney Experiences Auction – Rare and Remarkable Finds, hosted by Bret Iwan, with live and online bidding on verified pieces from Disney theme parks and resorts.
Also on Sunday, D23 will mark the 65th anniversary of One Hundred and One Dalmatians with rarely seen art from the Walt Disney Animation Research Library. Disney artist Kevin Kidney will also present Searching for the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House, a look at original filming locations that inspired the Disneyland Park attraction.
What fans should know
D23 is framing the afternoon lineup as part of a larger weekend with more than 50 panels, shows, and presentations across five stages. Specific show times for Spotlight Stage programming will be confirmed closer to the event, so the clean planning move is to lock the pass type first and watch for the final schedule.
