The Haunted Mansion’s Werecat Lady is getting a limited-edition Disney doll for Halloween season, and this one is built for collectors who know that portrait corridor by heart.
The doll goes on sale July 6 at 8 a.m. PT on DisneyStore.com. Disney Parks Blog says it is also coming soon to both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, so the online launch on July 6 leads the way.
Set an alarm.
When does the Werecat Lady doll go on sale?
The Werecat Lady limited-edition doll will be available online July 6 at 8 a.m. PT, with park releases planned later at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
For Haunted Mansion fans, the character comes straight from the changing portrait corridor. At Disneyland park, that hallway appears after guests exit the Stretching Room. At Magic Kingdom park, riders pass through it in a doom buggy, which makes this a nice crossover collectible for fans of Haunted Mansion history at Disney Parks.
The Werecat Lady painting was created by Imagineer Marc Davis. Disney Parks Blog notes the original Disneyland version showed a woman in white holding a red rose on a light pink chaise before changing into a black panther. The 2005 version changed her clothing to black, shifted the chaise to an orangey red, and turned the transformation into a white tigress.
That is the version guests see now at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
What makes the packaging special?
The box is designed like one of the Haunted Mansion’s framed portraits, and it has a UV reactive glow effect that reveals the Werecat Lady’s more frightening side.
One side shows the character posed on the ornate chaise. The other side shows her as the white tigress. Disney says the box has gold detailing and a metal descriptor placard along the bottom, so it’s meant to feel like a vintage Haunted Mansion frame.
It can even be mounted on a wall.

The doll itself wears a long black dress with lace accents, a thick choker, a headpiece, a jewel necklace, dark eye makeup, and red lipstick. The bigger design trick is the pose: Disney says this is the first doll its teams have created that reclines, using a newly sculpted torso so she can be displayed like the portrait. A stand is included if collectors want to position her upright instead.

If you collect Haunted Mansion merch, July 6 is the date to watch online. Anyone hoping to buy it inside the parks can watch Walt Disney World and Disneyland merchandise channels, since the doll is coming soon to both resorts after the online drop.
The release also fits neatly beside Haunted Mansion merchandise news and Disney’s broader Halloween-season shopping push for fans tracking Disney Store collectible doll releases.
