Jazwares brought a new Doctor Doom mask and cape costume set to San Diego Comic-Con, and the people sitting in Hall H are the ones who walked out with it. Attendees at the Marvel Studios panel on Saturday, July 25 received the set, which celebrates Doom’s MCU debut.
A mask and a cape. That’s the whole kit, and honestly it’s the right call, because those are the two pieces that make Doom read as Doom from the back of a room.
When does Avengers: Doomsday come out?
December 18. The Jazwares set is one of the new products debuting around Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, which puts the villain’s big-screen arrival about five months out from the Comic-Con reveal.
Jazwares hasn’t announced pricing or a retail release for the mask and cape set.
Who got the set at San Diego Comic-Con?
The set went to the crowd inside the hall during the Marvel Studios Hall H panel, and photos from the room show attendees wearing the masks and green capes.
What to know
Doom’s MCU debut now has a piece of merch attached to it, handed to a Hall H audience before the character has appeared in a film. The costume set is Jazwares. The movie is December 18. Everything else about how this reaches stores is still open.
