Universal Nights just picked up three more dates. Universal Orlando added Saturday, October 24, Friday, November 6 and Friday, November 20 to the after-hours event at Epic Universe, and it credits popular demand for the expansion. That brings the run to five nights, and one of the originals, Saturday, October 17, has already sold out.
The other original date, Saturday, October 3, still has tickets. So do all three of the new nights. Universal calls this a limited-capacity event, and the October 17 sellout came before the event has even debuted.
What time does Universal Nights run at Epic Universe?
The event runs from 9 p.m. to midnight, with nighttime access to all five worlds at Universal Epic Universe. That covers attractions, entertainment, character interactions and complimentary specialty snacks and beverages. Ticket holders can enter as early as 7 p.m., which adds two hours in the park before the event officially begins.
That early entry is the detail I’d circle. Two bonus hours in front of a three-hour event is a lot of park for one ticket, and the snacks are included on top of it.
Universal hasn’t said what the entertainment or character lineup looks like on a given night. It’s describing the event as all five worlds “like never before,” so I’d expect the full park to be part of it rather than a single land.
How much are Universal Nights tickets?
Tickets start at $179.99 per person and are on sale now through Universal Orlando’s website. That price covers the event itself, and Universal hasn’t said whether a separate daytime park ticket is required for the 7 p.m. early arrival.
The two Friday dates are new territory for the event. Everything announced before this was a Saturday, so the November additions give anyone visiting on a weekday a way in. If you’re planning another fall visit, Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 24 both land on a weekend with tickets still available.
What to know: Universal Nights now runs five nights: October 3, October 17 (sold out), October 24, November 6 and November 20. The event goes 9 p.m. to midnight with 7 p.m. early arrival, and tickets start at $179.99 per person.
