Disneyland is adding a new guided tour to its lineup. Signs for a “Women Who Make the Magic” tour have appeared in the park, and the tour is now listed on the Disneyland website, though no dedicated booking page is live yet.

What the Tour Covers

According to details shared by a Disneyland tour guide cast member, the experience is a 90-minute guided tour focusing on the women who helped shape Disneyland into what it is today. The tour reportedly highlights designers and behind-the-scenes creatives whose work guests walk through on every visit.

The tour reportedly includes a special photo opportunity with a piece of It’s a Small World memorabilia, a commemorative pin, and Lightning Lane access to a select attraction.

Dates and Pricing

According to cast member reports, the tour is expected to begin in early March and run through mid-May, aligning with Women’s History Month. The reported price is $110 per person, with a discount available for Disney Visa cardholders. An official announcement from Disneyland with confirmed details and booking information is expected soon.

Signs promoting the new tour are now posted around the Tour Guide Garden and outside City Hall at Disneyland, and the tour appears on the official Disneyland website’s tours page.

Other Active Disneyland Tours

Disneyland currently offers two other guided tours:

  • Disneyland Railroad Tour ($145) – includes a ride on the private Lilly Belle car, conversation with a train engineer, a snack, and Lightning Lane access
  • A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Tour ($120) – covers park history with rides on the Mark Twain and Disneyland Railroad, popcorn, Lightning Lane access, and reserved seating for a nighttime spectacular

A seasonal Halloween tour is also offered during the fall.

Why This Matters

The tour brings attention to contributions that often go unrecognized in Disney’s history. While Walt Disney’s vision is well-documented, the women who helped design attractions, develop concepts, and shape the guest experience at Disneyland have historically received less spotlight. A dedicated tour puts those stories front and center, and its March launch ties naturally to Women’s History Month.
