Halloween food is back across Walt Disney World Resort through October 31. Disney’s 2026 guide highlights new dishes and returning treats at the theme parks. The guide includes a black-bun chicken sandwich at Magic Kingdom and a cookies-and-cream sundae coming to Terra Treats on October 1.
The guide separates daytime Magic Kingdom food from treats at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. It also covers sweets elsewhere at the resort and Halloween novelty items. That distinction matters at Magic Kingdom, where some food is available during regular hours and party nights, while other items have narrower hours.
Which Halloween treats are new at Walt Disney World?
The Plaza Restaurant has two of the new Magic Kingdom dishes. Its Devilish Crispy Chicken Sandwich comes with spiced mayonnaise, red cabbage and Fresno peppers on a black kaiser roll. The Phantom Pecan-Caramel Cheesecake layers New York and caramel cheesecake with dulce de leche, chocolate ganache and pecans. Disney recommends reservations for the restaurant.
Over in Fantasyland, Cheshire Cafe has a new Queen of Hearts Tart filled with sour cherry pie filling. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epic Eats has a Maleficent Funnel Cake topped with ube and matcha icings, vanilla soft-serve and chocolate horns.
Animal Kingdom’s new Boneyard Cookies and Scream Sundae will be available at Terra Treats starting October 1. It combines cookies-and-cream ice cream with chocolate popping crumbs, a sugar bone and pumpkin candy in a waffle bowl. Starting October 1, Flame Tree Barbecue will offer a Candy Corn Pop made with spiced cheesecake, apple butter swirl and brown butter graham crackers dipped in white chocolate.
What can Magic Kingdom guests get during regular hours?
Several Halloween items are available without attending a party. Plaza Ice Cream Parlor’s Pumpkin Sundae, made with pumpkin gelato and pumpkin-spiced caramel sauce, is available during regular park hours and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The parlor stays open until 11 p.m. on party nights.
The Plaza Restaurant and The Lunching Pad serve their Halloween items during regular park hours and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Columbia Harbor House’s S’mores Cup, by contrast, is available during regular park hours only.
