Disneyland Magic Key passholders can change or cancel a park reservation until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on their reserved date.

The resort’s current Magic Key page no longer lists the previous 30-day reservation penalty for missing three reservations within 90 days. Park reservations are still required.
Reservation Changes Can Now Be Made the Same Day
Magic Key holders can manage reservations through My Theme Park Reservations. Disneyland says cancellations and modifications can be completed by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the day of the reserved visit.

The updated deadline also appears in Disneyland’s Magic Key how-to guide. Its instructions for canceling a reservation or removing a guest now refer to the day of the visit.
Before canceling an existing reservation to book another, Disneyland asks passholders to check availability for their preferred new date and park.
What the Previous No-Show Rule Required
An October 2024 planDisney answer instructed passholders to cancel reservations by 11:59 p.m. the day before their reserved visit.
Disney’s older policy applied a 30-day restriction after three reservation no-shows within a rolling 90-day period. During that restriction, passholders could not make new reservations or modify existing ones.
A historical planDisney answer explained that existing reservations were not canceled under that rule. That answer describes the earlier policy, not the updated instructions.
A Reservation Is Still Needed to Visit
A Magic Key pass and a reservation valid for the same park and date are both required for admission. Applicable blockout dates and reservation availability still apply.
The number of reservations a passholder can hold depends on the pass. For example, the Explore Key, priced at $999, can hold up to four theme park reservations at a time.
Once that limit is reached, another reservation cannot be made until an existing reservation is used, expires, or is canceled. Reservations are subject to the allocation available to Magic Key holders.
Crossing between parks remains subject to availability, capacity, operating hours, and other restrictions.
Disneyland’s guide says guests with an event ticket and a same-day Magic Key reservation should scan their pass at a non-event turnstile before standard operating hours end.
