Universal Cool Japan 2027 will feature Fullmetal Alchemist and Yomi no Tsugai experiences in spring 2027.
Since its 2015 debut, the event has included attractions, original merchandise, themed restaurants, and cart food.
Fullmetal Alchemist’s 22-year return
The park first collaborated with Fullmetal Alchemist in spring 2005.
Fullmetal Alchemist is also celebrating its 25th anniversary. The upcoming experience draws on the Fullmetal Alchemist anime adaptation broadcast from April 2009 through July 2010.
Yomi no Tsugai’s theme park debut
Yomi no Tsugai will have its first theme park collaboration through the event.
Its characters command beings called tsugai, which feature in the story’s battles.
The first anime season has concluded, and production of a second season has been confirmed.
Universal says attraction formats will come later. The park also plans to share further details about the event’s merchandise and food.
