Universal Kids Resort Adds Doozie Event October 23 to 25

Universal Kids Resort is hosting a “Doozie’s Doghouse” event October 23 to 25, 2026. The celebration introduces families to a new DreamWorks Animation series from the world of “Gabby’s Dollhouse.”

Doozie is Gabby’s 10-year-old little sister. While Gabby loves cats, Doozie’s all about dogs. Her series premieres on Netflix on November 9, 2026, after the resort celebration.

Most in-park activities center on Isle of Curiosity, which features “Gabby’s Dollhouse” theming year-round. Some activities also take families into other DreamWorks-themed lands.

Event times and access

The celebration starts at the resort hotel before the in-park activities begin. Doozie’s character appearance is temporary.

• Hotel party: The Doozie Pool Party runs Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Kids can splash around with family and other fans of the “Gabby’s Dollhouse” universe.
• Pool party access: Guests staying at the Universal Kids Resort hotel that Friday can participate.
• In-park hours: Saturday and Sunday activities run from noon to 6 p.m.

What can families do during the event?

• Doozie Meet & Greet: Guests can meet Doozie and take photos outside the Universal Kids Resort Theater. The theater is inside DreamWorks’ TrollsFest, separate from the activities centered in Isle of Curiosity.
• Exclusive series sneak peek: Inside the Universal Kids Resort Theater, families can watch an exclusive clip from “Doozie’s Doghouse” ahead of its Netflix premiere. Photos and recording aren’t allowed inside.
• Doozie-themed crafting: The Tactical Crafting Stations in Isle of Curiosity give kids a place to make canine-inspired art. Play Ambassadors accompany each station and can help children bring their craft ideas to life.
• Dancing and games: Families can find dance zones and interactive game zones in Isle of Curiosity. Both activities carry the “Doozie’s Doghouse” theme as part of the celebration.
• Puppy Patch Scavenger Hunt: This self-guided activity takes participants throughout the theme park’s DreamWorks-themed lands. Find a Play Ambassador to get started on the hunt, which extends beyond the celebration’s Isle of Curiosity activities.
• Doozie-themed cupcake: Cakey’s Cupcakes will sell a “Doozie’s Doghouse”-themed cupcake during the event only. The shop operates from a little camper trailer in Isle of Curiosity, with “Gabby’s Dollhouse” theming year-round.
