Universal Orlando Resort officially announced Halloween Horror Nights 35, running 48 select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026. The event’s theme is “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” and for the first time ever, icons Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow will join forces.
Dates and Theme
HHN 35 runs from Thursday, August 28 through Sunday, November 1, 2026, spanning 48 select event nights across Universal Studios Florida. The theme, “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” was first revealed at MegaCon Orlando on March 21 and confirmed in today’s official press release.
Icons: Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow
The 35th anniversary marks the first time Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow will appear together. The first announced haunted house, “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control,” puts the two icons side by side. The event will feature a lineup of 10 haunted houses in total, with additional houses to be announced in the coming months.
Premium Scream Night
Universal is expanding Premium Scream Night to two dates this year: Thursday, August 27 and Monday, October 19. Premium Scream Night is a separately ticketed event offering early access to the haunted houses before the general HHN event begins.
New for 2026: Scream Early Add-On
A new Scream Early add-on gives guests access to at least three haunted houses starting at 2:00 p.m. on event nights. This is a new offering for HHN 35, allowing guests to experience select houses during daylight hours before the full event opens.
Tickets and Vacation Packages
Single-night HHN 35 tickets are on sale now, starting at $88 per person. Vacation packages bundling a multi-night hotel stay with multi-day tickets can save up to $200, with maximum savings on 7-night bundles. Universal Orlando Resort now includes four theme parks: Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, and Universal Volcano Bay.
