With Halloween just around the corner, Disneyland in Anaheim, California has unveiled some upcoming offering exclusively for their Magic Key holders, with some of their spookiest exclusives being available as early as August in preparation for the official kickoff of the Halloween season in Disneyland on August 23rd.
With the introduction of new Villains trading cards, guests are entitled to up to four complementary collectible trading cards, each featuring a Disney villain we love to hate! These cards will be released over a period of four weeks, with a new villain debuting in the parks each week, so be sure to check back periodically to collect the set this year!
These cards will be available from August 26th through September 19th, and can be found at Disneyana in Disneyland Park and the Kingswell Shop at Disney California Adventure Park during normal operating hours. While these cards are in limited supply, Magic Key holders can receive them for free at either one of these participating locations, limit one card of each type per Key holder.
Magic Key holders can also experience a unique Magic Shot at Matterhorn Bobsleds, where guests with Magic Keys not only get the opportunity to take a wicked picture with Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove, but are also entitled to a complementary digital download of their Magic Shot!
This opportunity runs until September 14th, 2024, from noon to 9 PM daily, so be sure to drop by and pull the right lever, this time! Keep in mind that Disney Photopass must be linked to you MyDisney account to be downloaded, and the experience is subject to appropriate weather for the safety of guests and cast members.
Disneyland Magic Key holders are also being offered special exclusives during Oogie Boogie Bash! While the event is currently sold-out, those Magic Key holders who do have tickets can enjoy an exclusive photo op at Silly Symphony Swings, where guests can take special photos and pick up candy and a special commemorative patch featuring Hades from the 1997 animated film Hercules.
In addition to special photo ops and patches, Magic Key holders can also purchase exclusive t-shirts and pins themed to the Oogie Boogie Bash at select retailers across Disneyland Resort! And while Magic Key holders may need the elusive event wristband to gain access to these exclusive perks, no additional entry ticket is required to purchase the Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Patch Pin, available at select retailers starting August 23rd.
