Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris will undergo several months of work starting January 4, 2027, its most extensive renovation since opening.
The Adventureland attraction opened in 1993, inviting guests to explore a mysterious temple surrounded by ancient ruins and stone scenery. The project will preserve that setting while improving comfort for guests and Cast Members.
Teams from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris will work alongside Design & Delivery and Maintenance. Their work covers the temple, track structures, queue scenery and lighting around the attraction.
Temple stonework and track maintenance
The temple’s stones will receive particular attention. Crews will completely rebuild some sections.
The renovation also includes thorough maintenance of the track’s supporting structures, particularly the rails and footbridges. Teams will replace guardrails, along with wooden and metal cladding.
Decorative elements will leave the attraction for restoration at the Central Workshops. Crews will dismantle them before transporting them there for the work.
Queue scenery and lighting changes
The queue’s wooden walkways will be rebuilt.
Restoration work will also cover the staircase decorations, campsite scenery and the attraction’s familiar 4×4 vehicle.
New spotlights and modernized lighting effects will update the attraction’s scenic lighting and the surrounding area.
