The Disney Adventure has officially arrived at its new home port of Singapore, marking a major milestone for Disney Cruise Line as the company brings its cruise experience to Asia for the first time.
The ship reached Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore on the evening of March 3, greeted by a water salute, cheering cast members, and a fireworks display over the harbor.

A New Chapter for Disney Cruise Line
“The arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore marks a significant milestone in our global expansion, introducing Disney cruising to Asia for the very first time,” said Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences. “Honoring Disney Cruise Line’s legacy of unforgettable journeys, our newest ship brings together our signature storytelling and creativity in an exciting new region.”
Singapore serves as a leading cruise hub in Asia, with direct flights from more than 160 cities and the recently expanded Marina Bay Cruise Centre. The Disney Adventure has committed to a five-year homeporting agreement at the port.
The Journey to Singapore
The Disney Adventure’s arrival caps a nearly two-month voyage that took the ship from Germany across the Atlantic, through the Panama Canal as the largest passenger vessel to make that crossing, to Los Angeles, across the Pacific to Tokyo, and finally to Singapore.
Along the way, the ship hit several milestones. The Disney Adventure arrived in Los Angeles on February 9, then reached Tokyo on February 24 with a traditional drum ceremony welcoming the ship to port.
Red Carpet Celebration for Cast Members
Following the arrival, Disney rolled out the red carpet for more than 200 Singapore-based cast members and their families. The celebration was inspired by the Hollywood Spotlight Club, one of the ship’s rotational dining locations, and featured gourmet food and a glamorous tribute to the golden age of Hollywood.
What Guests Can Expect Onboard
The Disney Adventure features seven themed areas: Town Square, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, Disney Discovery Reef, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Imagination Garden, and Marvel Landing. The ship also features Disney’s first-ever castle at sea.
Guests will experience regionally inspired cuisine, new retail locations, attractions at sea, and entertainment at the Walt Disney Theatre and Garden Stage. Robert Downey Jr. was named the ship’s Godparent in February and will christen the vessel.
The Disney Adventure sets sail on its maiden voyage on March 10, 2026, offering three- and four-night itineraries from Singapore.
