Disney Village is getting an all-new shopping destination on September 22, 2026. Disney Wonders opens that Tuesday with a façade wrapped in artwork inspired by Star Wars, Disney Animation’s Peter Pan, and Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story.
Inside, two chandeliers carry more than 40 character illustrations, and illuminated light boxes run along the walk through the store. Even the checkout areas got the treatment, with scenes lit by Tinker Bell’s pixie dust and Pixar’s Luxo Jr. lamp.
Disney Wonders joins the shops already open along the strip, including Deco by Disney for homeware, Disney Glamour for jewelry and accessories, Disney Style, and World of Disney.
What else is opening at Disney Village?
Casa Giulia arrives at the end of 2026 at one of the main entrances to the Village. It’s a two-level Italian restaurant from the team behind Brasserie Rosalie, the French brasserie that opened on the shores of Lake Disney in 2023. Terrazzo, brick, wood, and greenery set the look, and the menu leans on Italian classics, seasonal ingredients, and Italian cocktails.
There’s a counter version too. Giulia Express serves pizza by the slice, focaccia, pastries, and gelato.
Vapiano goes down for a full refurbishment at the end of 2026, with work expected to wrap in early 2027. The refreshed restaurant gets brighter design, more natural light, updated terrace space, new landscaping, and a children’s play area on the upper level.
Annette’s Diner returns in 2027. The Disney Village fixture has been serving American diner food since 1992, and the refurbishment brings back a 1950s look with booth seating modeled on vintage car interiors, restored jukeboxes, and a redone dining room.
Is the cinema closing during the refurbishment?
No. The Pathé Cinema project runs in phases starting in September, and the theater stays mostly open throughout. The work lands in 2027 and includes renovated auditoriums with recliner seating, upgraded projection, a new Pathé Café, and a Pathé Games area. A redesigned Häagen-Dazs space picks up an outdoor terrace.
What’s happening at Disney Village for the holidays?
During Disney Enchanted Christmas, the decorations spread past the park gates into the Village: Christmas trees, giant snowflakes designed around Disney stories, festive lighting, and new photo spots. There’s a hunt built into it this year. Characters are hidden inside the snowflake designs, and guests who find all of them can pick up an exclusive holiday ornament at Sports Bar & Lounge.
Disney Village sits between Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, and the resort hotels, and it is evolving into a destination in its own right. Walt Disney Imagineering Paris has spent the last several years rebuilding the area with brick, wood, and steel façades and transparent storefronts.
The “North Block” redevelopment is close to finished. Attention turns next to the “South Block,” which gets modernized architecture and new experiences following the same design language.
What to know: If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris this fall, Disney Wonders is open from September 22, 2026. The dining changes run from the end of 2026 into 2027, starting with Casa Giulia at the end of 2026.
