Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel will open December 16, 2026, as Shanghai Disney Resort’s third Disney-themed hotel. The 400-room property will overlook Shanghai Disneyland and Wishing Star Lake.

The nine-story hotel takes architectural inspiration from early 20th-century Shanghai, with an Art Nouveau design. Its name comes from the fabled Wishing Star, a Disney symbol of dreams, wishes and possibilities.
- Reservations: Begin at 00:00 on November 6, 2026, for select room types.
- Booking channels: Shanghai Disney Resort Reservation Center, official resort channels and authorized travel partners.
Which rooms can you book?
The initial reservation options cover four room types:

- Enchanted Star Deluxe Room
- Enchanted Star Deluxe Room (Park View)
- Enchanted Star Dream Room
- Enchanted Star Club Room
Wishes and wishing stars inspire the guest rooms, which will feature artwork and subtle Disney details. Shanghai Disney Resort says more room types will become available for reservation closer to opening.

The hotel follows Disney’s “Authentically Disney, Distinctly Chinese” principle. Local influences will shape its design, operations and entertainment, alongside food, beverages and merchandise. Disney storytelling will carry through the exterior, interiors and guest experience.
Pools and shared hotel facilities
Guests staying at either lakeside hotel will have access to shared recreation, shopping and dining through a dedicated hotel connector. That access includes fitness centers, swimming pools, and indoor and outdoor themed play areas.

These facilities form part of the hotel’s family-focused, multi-day stay experience.

The outdoor pool will operate seasonally. Weather and operating conditions will affect availability.

It’ll be the first outdoor swimming pool in Shanghai Disney Resort’s hotel portfolio. Disney plans to integrate the pool with the surrounding landscape.

Dining and lakeside details
Enchanted Seasons Restaurant will be one of the hotel’s multiple dining venues. Its changing-seasons theme will combine Disney storytelling with Chinese and international cuisine.

Beyond dining, the hotel will offer special entertainment and encounters with Disney characters. Shopping will also form part of the stay, with merchandise among the areas shaped by local influences.
The hotel will offer views of Wishing Star Park as well as the theme park. Its lakeside setting is part of the resort’s plans for multi-day vacations and staycations.

Three newly unveiled crane sculptures stand near Enchanted Star Hotel. They connect the lakeside surroundings with Shanghai Disney Resort’s conservation stories.
