Disney and Pixar’s Halloween celebrations reach three games: Disney Dreamlight Valley, Disney Emoji Blitz and Disney Solitaire. Players can tackle seasonal challenges, collect costumed characters and solve Halloween puzzles, with different activities available in each game.
The Costume Contest Photo Hunt Event runs from October 29th to November 2nd in Disney Emoji Blitz. Players have a chance to earn character emojis through the event.
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Season of Scares
The free “Season of Scares” update for Disney Dreamlight Valley introduces Oogie Boogie and Zero from Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
It’s available on all platforms. There are weekly challenges, too. Those challenges bring new rewards as players take on the update’s seasonal activities.
Oogie Boogie’s arrival brings a strange mystery to Scrooge McDuck’s Store. Players can follow that mystery to find new challenges and rewards.
The update also gives players several ways to dress their characters and decorate for Halloween:
- The new “Haunting Elegance” Star Path.
- Seasonal outfits and Halloween-inspired decorations to unlock.
- New seasonal Premium Shop additions, including bundles, items and companions.
- Two special, limited-time events with exclusive rewards to unlock.
The companions come through the Premium Shop, while the special events provide their own exclusive rewards.
Disney Emoji Blitz’s costume contest
The Disney Emoji Blitz Halloween event puts Disney characters in Halloween costumes for its Photo Hunt. The possible emoji rewards include:
- Werewolf Goofy
- Mummy Donald Duck
- The brand-new Haunted Mansion
- The brand-new Vampire Stitch
Disney identifies Haunted Mansion and Vampire Stitch as the new additions among those examples. The event gives players a chance to earn them, rather than guaranteeing those rewards.
Disney Solitaire’s spells, cooking and stickers
Disney Solitaire brings Halloween activities to its puzzles, cooking event and sticker collection. Maleficent and the duo of Remy and Linguini each have a role in the seasonal celebration.
- Maleficent’s Spells: Complete Halloween puzzles to win extra rewards.
- Halloween-themed Chef Event: Cook festive treats with Remy and Linguini.
- Stickers: Collect designs inspired by Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
