The Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is reopening on Wednesday, March 19, 2026, as a fully reimagined tea experience inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Alice in Wonderland. The experience costs $79 per adult and $49 per child (ages 3 to 9), plus tax and gratuity, according to the Disney World website.
The lounge has been closed since 2020, and the new design blends Victorian elegance with modern comfort. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with natural light, while floral patterns, plush fabrics, and hues of green, blue, and gold create a garden-like atmosphere throughout the room.

Design Details
Brass-framed mirrors shaped like flower petals reflect an outdoor garden feel, and stained glass windows featuring native Floridian birds add color and warmth to the space. The carpet draws from winding garden vine motifs, with a hidden design element woven into the pattern.

The Tea Service
The afternoon tea is served with Twinings loose leaf tea selections, including an exclusive blend called Orangery of Lady Grey, a black tea with bright orange notes available only at Walt Disney World. Other options include Nutty Chocolate Flavoured Assam and a caffeine-free Blackcurrant and Lavender herbal tea.
Cast members serve as personal tea guides, helping guests select their tea, an accompanying aromatic added during steeping, and sweetener preferences.
Signature Drinks
Two tea-based cocktails are available: the Mint Tulip (Old Forester 1870 whiskey, Twinings Peach Mango Tea, and mint) and the Mar-TEA-ni (Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, Twinings Earl Grey, lemon, and honey). Non-alcoholic options include the Curiosi-TEA and This Way, That Way. Champagne and sparkling wines are also on the menu.
Food Menu
The experience starts with an Orange-Cranberry Scone with traditional accoutrements, followed by a three-tier tea tower.
