Starting May 19, 2026, select Hulu subscribers can link their Hulu profiles to Disney+. The update brings Hulu watch history, watchlists, and personalized recommendations into Disney+, letting viewers pick up where they left off on Hulu while browsing Disney+ content.
Linking an 18+ Hulu profile will be available to eligible Disney+, Hulu Bundle and Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Bundle subscribers in the coming days, with rollout to all bundle subscribers expected later in 2026. Users must sign in to Disney+ with the same MyDisney login they use for Hulu to trigger the linking process. Once connected, subscribers can customize their Disney+ profile by selecting avatars from Hulu’s collection alongside existing Disney+ favorites.

The linking feature is active for select Hulu subscribers as of May 19, 2026. Full rollout to all eligible bundle subscribers is scheduled for later in 2026. Eligibility details are available in the Hulu Help Center. Hulu subscribers without a Disney+ subscription can sign in to the Disney+ app using their MyDisney login to stream Hulu content at no additional cost or change to their subscription plan. These users will retain access to a small sampling of Disney+ and ESPN content while maintaining their standalone Hulu app access.
Content integration
Linked profiles display Hulu content within the “For You” tab on the Disney+ Home screen. Titles watched on Hulu appear in the “Continue Watching” section of Disney+, and items saved to “My Stuff” on Hulu populate the “Watchlist” section on Disney+. A dedicated Hulu Hub is accessible via the top navigation bar on Disney+. Users can also use the Verts feature on mobile devices to scroll through a vertical video feed for content discovery.
Upcoming features
Disney+ will soon test a new Live Guide, including Streams like ABC News Live and Disney+ Playtime for all Disney+ users, plus ESPN networks for entitled ESPN Unlimited subscribers. Additional Hulu features, including Live TV and specific add-ons, remain available in the Hulu app and will migrate to Disney+ at a later date.
What is still unknown
The specific date for the full rollout to all bundle subscribers remains “later this year.” Disney has not announced a precise month or day for the completion of the rollout. Details regarding the exact timeline for the migration of Live TV and add-ons to the Disney+ app are also not yet public.
