Universal Orlando Resort celebrates the Fourth of July on July 4, 2026 with fireworks at Universal Epic Universe, a pyrotechnics display at Universal Studios Florida, live music at CityWalk, and hotel food specials.
For guests, the practical choice is between Epic Universe fireworks, Universal Studios Florida Lagoon entertainment, CityWalk live music, and hotel-specific food and entertainment specials.
Epic Universe
Universal Epic Universe centers its Fourth of July programming around the Hemisphere Stage and Cosmos Fountain. A continuous DJ set runs at the Hemisphere Stage from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Fourth of July-themed stilt walkers appear near the Hemisphere Stage and Cosmos Fountain starting at 5 p.m., and ground performers begin at 5:30 p.m. The fireworks show is scheduled for 9 p.m., followed by the Cosmos Fountain show at 10 p.m.
Universal Studios Florida
Universal Studios Florida has the busiest entertainment slate. Street Breakz performs four 15-minute sets at Expo Circle at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. The Universal Mega Movie Parade steps off at 6 p.m.
CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular runs from the Lagoon at 9 p.m. Live DJs play the Music Plaza Stage from 5:15 p.m. to 10 p.m., with stilt walkers and ground performers from 6:15 p.m. to 9:50 p.m.
Character meet-and-greets are scheduled at the Music Plaza Stage from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and at Mel’s Drive-In from 7 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. A brief pyrotechnics display over the Lagoon is scheduled for 10 p.m.
CityWalk
Universal CityWalk adds live music for guests who want the holiday atmosphere without entering a park. American Sirens play the Plaza Stage from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Hall of Fame plays the Waterfront Stage from 8 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
A DJ is scheduled on the Promenade from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with atmosphere performers and stilt walkers continuing through the night.
Hotels
Select Universal Orlando hotels add Fourth of July food, drinks, entertainment, and activities. Hard Rock Hotel has a $30 Beachclub dining special from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a pick-two-meats and two-sides format.
Universal Endless Summer Resort, Dockside Inn and Suites, and Surfside Inn and Suites have ribs, wings, and a Bomb Pop drink special. Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort adds Atomic Tonic meal specials, lawn games, a sunset movie, and DJ entertainment. Universal Aventura Hotel has an $18 Bar 17 Bistro dining special and DJ entertainment from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
