Yoshitsugu Matsuoka had a striking response when he learned he’d been offered the part of Bendiger. Bendiger is an original character who is central to One Piece Premier Show 2026 at Universal Studios Japan. The production continues its current run at the park through November 19. Matsuoka said that when it was time to record his part, he found a very warm environment and was able to give the role his all.
“I thought my heart might stop,” Matsuoka said of the offer.
Bendiger’s exactly the sort of character Matsuoka loves to play. Matsuoka said he loves taking on this type of role and invited fans to enjoy it in One Piece Premier Show 2026.
Fans interested in attending can still buy tickets for the show through the official ticket purchase link shared by Universal Studios Japan. The USJ post doesn’t include a performance schedule or list individual ticket prices.
