Holiday World activated its Worry-Free Weather Guarantee for guests who visited the park on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, making scanned tickets from that date eligible for a free return visit on another public operating day in 2026.

Guests need to keep the ticket from that visit, or save a photo or screenshot of it on their phone. To redeem the return visit, they can bring the eligible ticket, photo, or screengrab to Guest Relations, where the park will reactivate the ticket for use that day.
Who Qualifies
The guarantee applies when weather closes a portion of Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari attractions for 90 minutes on the day of a visit, or at park management’s discretion. The park says rides don’t close for rain alone, but severe weather can pause operations.
Only guests whose tickets were scanned on eligible dates qualify. August 12, 2026 is now one of those dates, joining earlier 2026 dates including June 25, June 26, June 27, July 3, July 4, July 6, July 8, July 9, July 17, July 18, and July 26.
Single-day tickets and Flex tickets are eligible, along with discounted Bring a Friend Tickets purchased with a Season Pass or Platinum Season Pass. Guests visiting with a Picnic or Group Event ticket can also stop by Guest Relations or Group Sales for a complimentary ticket on their next visit. Eligible guests can use the ticket to visit again free on any day Holiday World is open to the public in 2026.
Summer Fun Card holders, Season Passholders, and Platinum Season Passholders do not qualify for a complimentary return ticket because passholders can visit most days of the season. The guarantee does not apply to complimentary Worry-Free Weather Guarantee tickets or companion passes for bus drivers or caregivers, and purchases or rentals made in the park on the date of the first visit do not qualify for reimbursement.
Flex ticket rules still apply separately: remaining Flex tickets must be used within six days of the first scanned ticket, and guests shouldn’t use the weather guarantee return before using the rest of their Flex tickets.
