Hulu Animayhem is taking over Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort with four limited-time restaurant menus based on Futurama, King of the Hill, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers. The August celebration also brings exclusive commemorative buttons and a custom chalk art installation to the district, while the menus remain available through August 31, 2026.

The food and button pickups are available to all Downtown Disney guests. Attendance at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event isn’t required for either. Event attendees can experience those public offerings along with a few special surprises reserved for D23, although the surprises themselves aren’t described.
Four shows, four Downtown Disney restaurants
Naples Ristorante e Bar is serving the Futurama-themed menu, and Ballast Point Brewing Co. is the location for the King of the Hill collaboration. Both are part of Downtown Disney’s limited-time menus, but each restaurant carries a different animated series rather than sharing a single event menu.
Family Guy takes over the menu at Splitsville Luxury Lanes, while Bob’s Burgers is paired with Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes. The Bob’s Burgers pairing is the one that made me smile. Black Tap’s full name already contains the food in the show’s title.
Commemorative buttons and D23 chalk art
Participating locations are also distributing exclusive Hulu Animayhem buttons. The commemorative pieces are exclusive to the Hulu Animayhem celebration and available while supplies last. Unlike the restaurant promotion, the buttons don’t have fixed availability through August 31 and could run out before the menus end.
A custom Hulu Animayhem chalk art installation arrives Thursday, August 13, which is D23 Day at Disneyland. It will remain at Downtown Disney through D23 Weekend. The installation has a shorter window than the restaurant menus and is the only element with an August 13 start date.
The animation tie-in continues away from Downtown Disney through Adult Animation programming on Disney+ and Hulu. Streaming access is available every day and marked for ages 18 and older. Hulu viewing requires a Hulu subscription, while viewing through Disney+ requires a bundle subscription. Terms apply.
