Universal Studios Japan will add Kenshi Yonezu’s “IRIS OUT” to Hollywood Dream – The Ride: Backdrop for a limited run beginning September 11.
The track served as the theme song for a theatrical film and became a major hit.
Riders won’t face forward on this one. Hollywood Dream – The Ride: Backdrop is a backward-facing coaster.
The ride sends guests through the world of “Chainsaw Man.”
The official post describes the addition as limited-time and gives a September 11 start date.
It’s a particularly clean match between a hit film theme and a coaster defined by backward motion.
