Disneyland Paris runs its Disney Halloween Festival from September 26, 2026 through November 1, and October 31 is the night to circle. Costumes are welcome for guests of every age that day, a special program runs until 11:00 p.m., and the evening stacks exclusive character encounters, fireworks and treats from M&M’S.
Every bat brooch holds a different diamond
At the Disneyland Park entrance, arriving guests get met by Mickey as a mystical count, Minnie as a little witch, Donald as a vampire and Daisy as a bat lady, all in new Victorian-style outfits. Each one wears a matching bat brooch, and the diamond inside every brooch is its own color. That’s the detail I keep circling back to.
Cruella, Maleficent and Dr. Facilier headline the Disney Villains meets, with Jack Skellington and Sally from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas back as well.
Mickey’s Halloween Celebration sends four floats through the park. Daisy Duck opens the procession, followed by numerous Disney Characters including rarer appearances such as Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar, passing pumpkins, lanterns and hay bales to a festive soundtrack, and Mickey closes the run aboard Mickey’s Manor of Illusions with magical illusions and quick costume changes.
170 new candles down Main Street, U.S.A.
Main Street, U.S.A. is decked out with garlands inspired by Victorian style, joined by around forty new pumpkins and 170 new candles in the likeness of Mickey Mouse and his friends. There’s a new original composition playing underneath it, and projections take over once it gets dark.
The station picks up four new Art Deco stained-glass windows featuring Maleficent and Ursula. Gilded Mickey and Minnie pumpkins fill the Town Square gardens, Donald Duck and Goofy shapes tuck in among the candles, and shadow-puppet villain silhouettes hang from the street banners. Royal Castle Stage gets thorn-covered gates, ravens and villain-inspired emblems.
Frontierland heads somewhere else entirely with Día de los Muertos and Mexican-inspired decorations at Casa de Coco: Restaurante de Familia. The autumn decor inside the Disney Hotels draws on Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories.
A curse cake and a reception that never happened
Menus add two creations tied to Disney Villains and Mischief Makers: Ursula’s Curse Cake at Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant and the Devilish Brookie at Market House Deli. Shops across the destination stock a seasonal souvenir collection that includes a Pumpkin Mickey shoulder plush.
Frontierland’s Lucky Nugget Saloon turns back into The Unlucky Nugget Saloon, borrowing from Phantom Manor to revisit the wedding reception Melanie Ravenswood never got to celebrate. Phantom Manor offers an audio description service for visually impaired guests, available in French and English via the AudioSpot app.
