The Monorail connection

With valid Disneyland park admission, you can board the Disneyland Monorail at the Downtown Disney station. You’ll take an approximate 13-minute ride around the resort before arriving in Tomorrowland.

What’s new to eat

Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby serves beef Wellington, fish & chips, cottage pie and sticky toffee pudding. Its three dining settings include a patio overlooking the district. Read more about Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby.

Earl of Sandwich’s flagship location serves freshly carved premium pastrami at The Carvery. You’ll also find breakfast items, soups, salads, oversized cookies and cinnamon rolls.

Parkside Market brings four food and drink concepts under one roof. I like that range: coffee, Korean rice bowls, chicken sandwiches and cocktails.

Parkside Market Coffee serves lattes, teas and breakfast items, while Seoul Sister offers bibimbap with a California twist. GG’s Chicken Shop serves sandwiches, salads and sides. Vista Parkside Market pairs district views with cocktails and mocktails.

Din Tai Fung serves Xiao Long Bao, Spicy Wontons and Pork Chop Fried Rice. You can watch the dumpling kitchen and order takeout for your hotel room or home.

Paseo, Céntrico and Tiendita feature menus from Chef Carlos Gaytán. Paseo offers upscale Mexican dining indoors, while Céntrico provides an open-air setting. Tiendita serves Mexican street-food staples on the go.

Quick bites and sweet stops

Big Boi Lumpia Co. serves Filipino spring rolls in savory and sweet flavors, including plant-based options. Cathy’s Cookies offers warm chocolate chip cookies by the dozen or bucket, plus dough to bake at home.

Happy Ice serves Philadelphia-style Italian ice made with real fruit. Beignets Expressed offers classic powdered-sugar beignets and specialty glazed versions, while Salt & Straw rotates its ice cream flavors. For another food read, there’s Hulu Animayhem menu coverage.

Shopping beyond the souvenirs

World of Disney carries the Disneyland Resort’s largest selection of Disney merchandise. Avengers Reserve stocks comic books, collectibles, apparel and role-play toys.

Nectar Life has a customization bar for creating milkshake bath soaks and whipped soaps. The D-Lander Shop carries apparel, handbags and jewelry, including Kate Spade and Dooney & Bourke collections.

Disney Wonderful World of Sweets makes Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn and sells caramel apples, churro toffee and candies. You can see its exhibition kitchens from the promenade. Disney Storyland Boutique regularly changes its theming, décor and products.

Live music and bowling

The district’s live stage offers evening music, including Motown, rock, pop and reggae. There’s a lawn where you can relax while children play.

Splitsville Luxury Lanes has 20 bowling lanes across two floors and 25 big-screen TVs. Outside, The Alley offers interactive games and local musicians. Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio also hosts singers and musicians performing jazz.

What’s coming next

The planned Bopo Go café menu includes boba tea, juices, matcha, light bites and imported snacks. Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon will serve beef, seafood, sandwiches and salads. Pearl’s Roadside BBQ will offer pulled pork and beef brisket.

Construction is underway on Porto’s Bakery & Cafe. This location will be the first Porto’s with sit-down table service and a full bar. Its planned offerings include Cheese Rolls and Potato Balls.
