Disney has announced dates for the 2027 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. It’ll run from January 15 until March 1. Disney shared plans for returning experiences, from Broadway performances to places where guests can take part in making art.
For guests eating their way around the festival, Disney plans Food Studios throughout the park. Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game will return as the festival’s presenting sponsor.
Since its debut in 2017, the festival has brought visual, performing, and culinary arts together at EPCOT. Its Food Studios focus on both flavor and presentation, treating food as another form of art.
For Disney Lorcana fans, Disney plans exclusive festival extras, including promo items. The event will also have gifts with purchase that fans can only get at the festival.
Fans can take part in the returning Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt and Collection Quest during their visit. Illumineers will also be able to visit the Illumineer’s Lounge again during the celebration.
How do DISNEY ON BROADWAY concerts work?
The DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series will bring musical stars to America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion. They’ll perform songs they helped bring to life on Broadway stages. Other favorites are also on the program.
A new pair of performers takes the spotlight every two weeks.
The concert schedule will include several performances each evening. Admission comes with EPCOT park entry.
If you’re going to a concert, seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Disney will also sell DISNEY ON BROADWAY dining packages for guests who want guaranteed seating. With a package, guests can have a meal at select EPCOT restaurants before heading to the show. Disney will share the full performer lineup later. Dining packages will also go on sale at a later date.
Which art activities are returning?
Animation Academy and Expression Section: A Paint by Number Mural will return, along with Artful Photo Ops. Guests can also find exclusive festival merchandise during the celebration.
Disney artists’ artwork will be displayed throughout the park. At the Chalk Art Galleries, guests will also be able to see artists creating their work.
Artists will also paint Disney characters in a matter of minutes. I could happily spend part of a festival visit watching a Disney character take shape that quickly.
Musicians will also perform around the park. For visiting artists’ names, appearance dates, and locations, Disney points guests to DisneyWorld.com.
