Disney Store Times Square in New York City has completed its holiday transformation, including a hunt for six hidden Disney characters. Seasonal merchandise fills the shelves, while Mickey and Friends appear in festive outfits throughout the product displays.
The two-story store sits in Manhattan, steps from the Great White Way. That puts it near theatergoers visiting the area for a show, including a Disney on Broadway production.
- Decorations: The holiday transformation stays in place through January 3.
- Character hunt reward: Find all the characters, complete the game card, and present it to a cast member for a seasonal surprise.
- Purchase gift: All shoppers making a purchase during November and December receive a gift tag sticker sheet.
Holiday merchandise and New York souvenirs

The store carries holiday merchandise from Disney Parks and Disney Store alongside its Times Square-exclusive products. Shoppers can browse ear headbands, mugs, and spirit jerseys. Seasonal assortments also include sweaters, matching pajamas, and home goods.

Wreaths, bows, and ornaments also surround the character displays.
Beyond the seasonal collections, Disney Store Times Square exclusive merchandise includes signature pins and plush. The location also carries limited-edition pins designed specifically with New York City in mind.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse plush embrace the city theme. Across the merchandise, shoppers can find pretzel and taxi imagery, plus references to New York landmarks. NYC snow globes also appear among the store’s souvenirs.
How does the Hidden Magic Experience work?
The Hidden Magic Experience sends shoppers searching for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto. Participants check the characters off their game cards as they find them.
The characters blend into the decor. Disney has concealed them throughout the store, so the search takes shoppers among the displays.
The card doubles as a wish list. Its back has space to write down merchandise spotted during the search, letting participants keep track of items they’d like to receive for the holidays.
The gift tag sticker sheet features Mickey and Friends in seasonal outfits, alongside classic holiday colors and icons. Shoppers can use the stickers to finish their wrapped presents.
