Disney x Gustaf Westman’s home collection turns Mickey & Friends into sculptural furniture, drinkware, and decor. Disney has revealed the 35-piece assortment ahead of its scheduled November 15 online launch.
Westman is a Swedish artist known for playful, rounded designs that transform everyday home essentials into statement pieces. The collaboration draws on the characters’ colors, shapes, and silhouettes.
The Disney x Gustaf Westman designs use recognizable details instead of faces or traditional graphics. Those include Donald Duck’s bowtie, Mickey Mouse’s ears, and Minnie Mouse’s polka dots.
Before creating the collection, Westman visited Disneyland Paris for inspiration. His own Disney fandom also helped shape the designs.
Which cups and plates are included?
The kitchenware includes a cup that looks like Mickey’s puffy glove has wrapped around it. Donald’s hat becomes a black cup paired with a blue saucer.
- Minnie Mouse Cup: Features her pink polka dots and bow.
- Minnie Mouse Glass: Also draws on those signature Minnie details.
- Mickey Plate: Features Mickey Mouse’s silhouette.
