Disney has added Walt Disney World virtual queue details for its May the 4th merchandise events on Monday, May 4, 2026, while Disney Store continues its Star Wars Day product rollout with the April 24 Podracing update.
Guests planning to shop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney Springs on Star Wars Day should plan around My Disney Experience, because both Walt Disney World merchandise events will use virtual queues.
Virtual queues
Disney says guests will need the My Disney Experience app to take part in the May the 4th merchandise events at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs.
The Disney’s Hollywood Studios virtual queue opens at 7 a.m. ET on May 4, 2026. The Disney Springs virtual queue opens at 9 a.m. on May 4, 2026.
For the Disney’s Hollywood Studios event, guests also need valid park admission and a theme park reservation for the day if a reservation applies to their ticket type. Disney says guests should check DisneyWorld.com and the My Disney Experience app for the latest availability and event details.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also support merchandise mobile checkout during the event. Guests can scan items in the app and pay from their phone while shopping.
Podracing collection
The April 24 update focuses on a Podracing Collection inspired by Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Disney highlighted the Boonta Eve Classic Retro Moto Short Sleeve Shirt for Adults, the X-Wing Starfighter Retro Moto Pullover Sweatshirt for Adults, and the Boonta Eve Classic Retro Moto Zip Jacket for Adults.
The Podracing Collection is coming soon to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Disney says the collection had originally been planned for a May 1, 2026, launch on DisneyStore.com, but it will no longer be released online.
Jerseys and earlier drops
Star Wars jerseys launched on DisneyStore.com on April 24, 2026, at 8 a.m. PT. Disney says the baseball jerseys are inspired by the colors and insignia of Rebel Starfighter pilots and the Galactic Empire, with the number 77 on the back as a nod to the 1977 release of Star Wars: A New Hope.
The baseball jerseys are also available now at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Disney also listed a Star Wars Spirit Jersey Mystery Box for Adults, exclusive to Disney Store, with one of six retro concept art designs or one rare secret design.
Disney’s Star Wars Day merchandise page has tracked several 2026 themes: May the 4th Logo on March 26, Endor on April 3, Stormtroopers on April 10, Jerseys on April 17, and Podracing on April 24.
What to know before May 4
The key planning detail is the virtual queue timing. Walt Disney World guests hoping to shop the May the 4th merchandise events should have My Disney Experience ready before the 7 a.m. ET Hollywood Studios window or the 9 a.m. Disney Springs window on May 4, 2026.
