Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will get an early chance to ride Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets before the reimagined Disney’s Hollywood Studios attraction opens to all guests.
Disney says Passholder previews for Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will take place May 21, May 22 and May 23, 2026, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The attraction is scheduled to officially open May 26, 2026.

The preview will use a virtual queue during the three preview dates. Passholders with a Disney’s Hollywood Studios park reservation for the day can try to join the 7 a.m. virtual queue distribution through the My Disney Experience app.
Disney says the 11 a.m. distribution will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to any theme park for that day. The 3 p.m. distribution will be available to any Passholder with valid admission, and Disney says a theme park reservation is not required for that distribution.
Passholders do not need to have entered a theme park before trying to join the virtual queue. Each Passholder can request to join the virtual queue no more than once per day, and Disney notes that joining the virtual queue does not guarantee participation because boarding groups are limited and subject to availability.
The preview schedule gives Passholders a limited early window before the coaster returns to the regular Hollywood Studios lineup. It also gives Disney a controlled way to run the updated attraction before its first public operating day.
Disney also confirmed that the virtual queue is only planned for the Passholder preview period. A virtual queue is not planned when Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opens on May 26, 2026.
There is also a PhotoPass perk attached to the preview. Passholders participating in a preview can receive complimentary downloads of their Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets attraction photo during the preview dates.
The reimagined coaster replaces the former Aerosmith version of Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster. Disney’s updated attraction page says guests will step inside G-Force Records for a VIP tour of The Muppets’ music studio, where The Electric Mayhem is running late for a concert and riders are pulled into the rush to get the band across town.

Disney’s Passholder preview page also lists preview details for Soarin’ Across America, which is scheduled to officially land at EPCOT on May 26, 2026. Passholders can experience a preview flight for that attraction on May 19 and May 20, using the standby queue during normal operating hours, subject to capacity.
